Ok --New to Blogging

Ok this is my first attempt at blogging. I didn't even fully understand what a blog was until I recently watched the movie Julie and Julia. This movie made me stop and think about my own life. Like Julie in the movie who was turning 30 I am now 2 months away from turning 40 and because of this I have starting thinking more about the things I've learned about life up until this point and also about were my life is headed. I figure if I am lucky this is about the half way point in my life. So I decided to start this blog to help me figure things out. I hope I will not bore anyone with the mundane doings of day today living but as I approach this midpoint in life I realize each day no matter how mundane is important and we can't keep looking for that next big event. Everyday is special and we need to live each day and find that special part of it. That's what I hope to accomplish.
